The Israeli army, backed by at least seven armored vehicles, invaded the West Bank town of Biet Fajjar south of Bethlehem on Wednesday before dawn.

Soldiers installed several temporary roadblocks at the main entrances of the town and broke into several homes and forced occupants outside.

In some of the neighborhoods soldiers gathered dozens of the elderly and young men in the street and insulted them physically and verbally. During the invasion sixteen youths were abducted and taken to an unknown location.
