author Saturday June 17, 2006 15:02author by Report this post to the editors

The Israeli armed forces have invaded the village of Al Aqaba, east of the West Bank city of Tubas, and conducted military searches of homes, local sources reported.

Scores of army jeeps stormed the village after closing its exits and entrances, then imposed curfew on the village barring the residents from leaving their homes.

During the invasion troops fried rounds of live ammunition, and sound bombs at the residents houses, no injuries were reported.
